Two of Boston BID Ltd's directors have resigned in last two months, which has left vacancies on
the board of directors.
Jude Meadows of Simply Yours and Warsops has decided that due to the
time involved in running two businesses in Boston, she is unable to give sufficent time to Boston BID Ltd.
Terry Ball, the Boston Sector Inspector for Lincolnshire Police has been re-assigned to Skegness and it
is therefore impractical for him to continue to act as a director.
The Board of Boston BID Ltd is sorry
to see these directors leave but fully understands the reasons why each individual has made the decisions
they have. We wish them both every success for the future and thank them for the contributions they have
made to Boston BID.
Terry Ball's directorship will be filled by his succesor Inspector Phil Clark as a
representative of Lincolnshire Police, who are a founder member of Boston BID Ltd. This does, however, mean
that there is a space on the board for a director from the business sector. Any BID member that is interested in
becoming involved with the BID should contact the BID Manager.
The AGM set for 15th June has had to be cancelled and the Board offer their apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused.
LIncolnshire Chamber of Commerce are holding a Networking Lunch at the White Hart Hotel on 17th June 2010 from 12:00pm to 2:00pm.
The BID has set up a contact number specific to the current road widening scheme to enable members and the public to leave information on any problems that they experience
Work begins on the proposed road widening scheme on parts of the A16 and A52 on 10th May and are expected to be completed by March 2011
