There is a meeting being held in the Assembly Rooms at 6:30pm on Wednesday 2nd November 2011 to discuss the Market Place Improvement works.
This is a follow up meeting to that held on Thursday 15th September when various issues were raised by local businesses. The project partners, Lincolnshire County Council, Boston Borough Council and Ringway agreed to look at the issues raised and promised to hold a further meeting to review the projects progress and to address the concerns raised.
Hopefully as many businesses as possible will attend this meeting.
The Department for Communities and Local Government has introduced a competition for 12 towns to act as pilot towns to implement some of the recommendations contained in the Mary Portas review of the high street.
On Thursday 15th March Boston BID Ltd is holding a General Meeting at the Assembly Rooms Boston.
This competition is operated by the Royal Horticultural Society with the aim of improving the environment and street scene in towns, villages and cities throughout the United Kingdom.
